Love is in the air!
This is the official kick off of 2009/2010 breeding season.
Those two produced some smoking hot pins last season and hopefully will again this year, and maybe just maybe this time there will be a female or two.
Breeding season’s recap & holdbacks!
So breeding season is over and what a season even if a modest one! I had amazing odds this year and could not have hope for anything more.
Clutch 1 – 5 eggs 6 babies yep you got it TWINS (My very first set of twins to kick start the season)
Clutch 2 – 6 Eggs – 1.3 Pins and 1.1 Normals
Clutch 3 – 6 Eggs – 1.5 Poss Het Genetic Stripe
Clutch 4 – 8 good eggs – 2.2 Pieds and 2.2 PH Pieds and all that from Het to Het breeding.
Clutch 5 – 6 eggs – 3.0 Pins – 2.1 Normals
Clutch 6 – 7 Eggs – 1.1 Spinners – 0.1 Spider – 1.4 Normals
Here are the highlights and a few holdbacks
Makes my head spin!
Last clutch of the season is finally out, and while there are a lot of normals, I did hit on the Spinner and could not be happier.
4 Normals, 1 Spider, 2 Spinners, and an all girl clutch….really? hmm I better re-check that one when they shed, because generally it’s the opposite
.
*Update: As expected when sexing slippery snakes
you make mistakes (which is why I always re-sex anyway) so final count 1.1 Spinner 0.1 Spider and 0.4 Normals…..still can’t complain
